Gibson Firebird Bicentennial

1976

This one is part of a limited run to celebrate the 200th anniversary of American independence, the Firebird Bicentennial models are truly interesting instruments. First of all, the look is striking. Originally designed by an automotive designer named Ray Dietrich, who had worked for Packard, Lincoln, and Chrysler, the Firebird featured aggressive and revolutionary lines for the time. This model is in excellent condition and perfectly playable. The sound of the Firebird is quite unique. There are no other Gibson models that really come close, with its mini humbuckers and neck-through design.

It comes in a 1990s Gibson Firebird case.
