Martin D-18E

1959

With only 302 examples produced—one in 1958 and 301 in 1959—this legendary guitar was, of course, made famous by Kurt Cobain, who played one during Nirvana’s iconic MTV Unplugged performance, an album that left its mark on my generation and far beyond. This guitar is in excellent, all-original condition and comes with its original hardshell case.

It won the award for the best vintage guitar at the Veenendaal Vintage Guitar Show in March 2026.
