Levin Model 350 Red
1966
Here is, once again, a Levin 350. I offered one 7 years ago in the same red finish, a rare color for these Swedish models. I hadn’t seen many since, but these instruments have gained a lot of popularity—not because any particular player uses them, but simply because they are excellent instruments.
Levin was particularly well known for its high-end jazz archtop guitars, but of course they were also capable of building electric guitars in the same vein as the major American brands.
This model is in excellent condition and has had no repairs. One of its great advantages is that it is a lightweight and very versatile instrument, weighing only 2.8 kg. The celluloid finish is thin and beautifully checked, which is perfectly normal after 60 years. The instrument remains in very good condition and fully functional.
Equipped with two original DeArmond pickups, it is very close in character to small Gretsch models from the same era. It is easy to play, the frets are in good condition, the neck angle is optimal, and it has been set up and is ready to play.
A real favorite—this charming and unusual Swedish guitar.
It retains all its original parts and comes with its original hard case.
