Gibson Les Paul Custom 20th anniversary

Here is the commemorative Les Paul model known as the “20th Anniversary,” easily recognizable by its mother-of-pearl inlay at the 15th fret.

This particular example is in very good condition, although it has undergone a few player-oriented modifications over the years. The original tuners have been replaced with Sperzels, and two mini-switches were added to allow the pickups to be switched to single-coil mode. The switches are currently disconnected, but they can easily be wired back in if desired.

The guitar is fitted with two original Tarback pickups, both of which sound excellent. The neck pickup measures 7.62 kΩ, while the bridge pickup reads 7.86 kΩ.

The neck is nice and straight, and the original low-profile “fretless wonder” frets remain perfectly playable.

It comes with a Gibson Protector case, probably one of the toughest guitar cases Gibson ever made.
