You won’t find another one quite like this.

This Casino originally left the factory with a single P-90 in the central position. It was later modified with the addition of a second pickup at the end of the fingerboard. A few other modifications accompanied this conversion, including the addition of a pickup selector switch, a pickguard sourced from an ES-125, and a Bigsby. Since the guitar has only two controls, the volume and tone knobs, which are reproductions, are wired as master controls.

The original pickup is now in the neck position, while the center pickup is a Seymour Duncan. These modifications were already present in 1990 when the previous owner acquired the guitar, as can also be seen from details such as the wear on the pickup covers. All the components have aged together, and the guitar has clearly been played in this configuration for decades.

And for good reason: this is a remarkable instrument. The highly sought-after wide pre-1965 neck is extremely comfortable, with a beautifully balanced profile—neither too slim nor too chunky. It simply feels right. The frets still have plenty of life, and the guitar is very easy to play.

It is a resonant, unconventional, yet extremely appealing instrument with a character all its own.
