This guitar was recently brought to me by its original owner. It’s a Stratocaster with a beautiful resonance. The neck is perfectly straight, and the instrument is very precise. Originally Olympic White, the owner decided to repaint it red (the Shadows, of course; he was actually in a cover band), but changed his mind about ten years ago and restored it to its original color. This is part of its history, and you can still see a few rare traces in the neck cavity and on the Bakelite volume and tone knobs, which were also painted. All the electronics are original, including the three grey bottom pickups, which have not been rewound. The three potentiometers have the same 1966 markings, which is quite common since Fender bought large stocks that year. The three-way selector switch is original and testifies to the minimal maintenance required on the instrument throughout its life. Typical of this era, the pearloid pickguard on the inside is also worth noting. This instrument has seen a lot of play; you can see that the fingerboard is slightly worn in the lower positions, but nothing that hinders playing in my opinion. It sounds really great with that classic Hendrix vibe.

Comes with a modern hard case.
