Fender Jaguar Dakota Red

1965

This 1965 Fender Jaguar is a guitar worthy of the finest collections. While Dakota Red is very common on Mustangs, it is extremely rare on Jaguars, Fender’s top-of-the-line model at the time. This particular example is in excellent condition. It has been played, but is very well preserved with all of its original parts. On the back, the finish shows some light wear, revealing the white undercoat that was always applied before Dakota Red. The neck is straight and perfectly playable. It still has its original frets, which are in very good condition and were leveled some time ago. The guitar retains all of its original components, including, of course, its pickups and potentiometers. The solder joints are intact and have never been touched. It sounds absolutely fantastic. The guitar is complete and comes with its original manual, bridge cover, and original case—everything is there. It is worth noting that the small manual is indeed the one that belongs to this guitar, as it bears the matching serial number. Interestingly, the band pictured on the cover of the manual is playing Dakota Red instruments.

This instrument is extremely rare on the market. It is the first time I am offering a Fender Dakota Red guitar other than a Mustang.

Don’t miss it!
