Martin D-35

1970

This D-35 left the factory with a natural finish, it had been repainted quite clumsly, which is why we asked Florian Chateau to give it a Martin-style shaded burst paint job. Only the top has been refinished. The guitar is very playable and  very open, it really fills the room. It rings like a bell. The sides and the back are entirely made of brazilian rosewood, it is one of the last D-35s manufactured in brazilian before they switched completely to Indian rosewood. It’s in very nice condition, only surface wear to the body and one stabilized splint behind the bridge. Neck angle is good and the action is low with 0.11 at the 12 fret on the low E and 0,09 at the high e. ( 2,2 cm and 2,7cm ) .

It is supplied with its blue Martin hard case.
