Martin D-35

1968

For once I know the history of this guitar since it is an instrument that I brought myself from the USA in 2016. I bought it in Texas from 2 brothers who ran a store in the south of the state. The action was a little high at the time but the condition was very good and since you don’t come across a brazilian rosewood D35 every day I bought it anyway and we did a neck reset here in France. Then I had sold it locally. It plays and great and sounds really loud with huge boomy tone. It’s a very open and powerful guitar. The back and sides are brazilian rosewood. The fingerboard and the bridge are made of ebony, the top in spruce. It is an instrument in excellent condition and equipped with a passive pickup with controls in the soundhole. Comes in the original hard case with hillbilly leather handle.
