Les Paul Special Cherry

1959

This Special dates from the beginning of 1959. The inscription Les Paul is still on the headstock and the neck pickup is located at the very end of the fingerboard. The guitar is original except for the stop bar which is a compensated model for better intonation. This instrument is perfectly playable and very stable even if the neck has been repaired at the body-neck junction. The electronics are intact and have never been touched, the 2 original pickups are excellent and coupled with a good amp, like a 50s tweed for example, reveal their full potential and bite. The neck is wide and very comfortable with a typical round profile. 3,140kg only and very resonant. In 70s case.
