Gibson SG Special Polaris white refin

Here is a guitar aimed more at players than collectors, refinished in an elegant Polaris White.

The tuners, electronics, and neck pickup have been replaced, and the body was routed at some point to accommodate a humbucker in the neck position. The original finish remains intact on the face of the headstock, along with the clearly visible serial number.

The frets still have plenty of life left, and the guitar plays and sounds great. The neck has a fairly thick, substantial profile that feels great in the hand and contributes a lot to the character of the instrument.

This may not be one for the purist collector, but that is precisely its appeal: a genuine 1960s SG with the feel, character, and vibe you expect from a vintage Gibson, at a considerably more accessible price.
