Fender Telecaster Refin Blonde with Gold Hardware

1965

Originally Candy Apple Red with gold hardware — Fender’s top-of-the-line finish at the time — this Telecaster was refinished in Blonde with a beautiful nitrocellulose lacquer in the late ’60s.
A touch of the original Candy Apple Red can still be seen inside the electronics cavity.

This is a lightweight Telecaster at just 3.6 kg, very comfortable and easy to play. The frets are in good condition, the neck is straight, and the instrument is set up and ready to play. The pickups and electronics are original and work perfectly. The pickguard has been replaced with a slightly later model, but nothing that detracts from the joy of playing a genuine 1965 Telecaster.

Fender produced plenty of Stratocasters that year, but Telecasters from ’65 are much rarer — and every bit as outstanding.

Comes in its original Fender hard case.
