Gibson ES-150

1942

Definitely one of the most playable guitars in the store as of this writing. The neck of this Gibson is absolutely insane, it’s so easy. Almost no pressure needed. It’s 45mm at the nut and the round profile couldn’t be more comfortable. The instrument is in very good condition. Note 3 small repaired cracks near the lower f hole. The flamed maple back is superb. The adjustable pole pickup, which is in fact the ancestor of the P90, in the bridge position sounds really warm and full, and the tone is so effective that it will take you to sounds much sharper, much more blues rock than one might imagine at first sight. The sound with the tone at maximum bass is worthy of the best Gibson electric archtops really. An interesting combination on a rare instrument. In original hard case.
