Martin 0-15

1942

ON HOLD

An instrument from the golden age. This Martin was made in 1942 meaning it has the famous scalloped braces, a time consuming feature that was abandoned after the war. You will also note the tortoise shell celluloid peghead veneer, an option available only from 1940 to 1942. The guitar has just received a neck reset and the angle is therefore perfect. The projection is absolutely insane for such a small guitar, especially for a mahogany model. I had never heard that before. It’s the kind of sound and feeling you usually find on much higher end Martins (and therefore much more expensive..)Very sharp and precise. The frets have plenty of life left. So of course it has wear and tears, mainly on top, but the instrument is healthy, recently reset and setup and will last again for decades. Comes in an old non-original hard case.
