In 2002, Martin created a very limited edition 12-string acoustic guitar to pay tribute to Judy Collins, an iconic figure of the American folk scene. This rare model, one of only 33 made (we are offering number 27), stands out for its truly high-end craftsmanship.

It features a 12-fret dreadnought design, renowned for its powerful projection, and an unusual combination of premium tonewoods: a flamed maple center wedge on the back, framed by East Indian rosewood, delivering both sparkling clarity in the highs and warm tonal depth.

The neck plays incredibly well — a real “highway” — which is quite rare for a 12-string. Its profile is slim and flattened, making it one of the most playable 12-strings I’ve ever come across.

Even after two decades, the guitar remains in remarkably well-preserved condition, with only a few light cosmetic marks and no cracks or repairs. It comes in its original hardshell case.
