This beautiful dreadnought is a powerful guitar in excellent condition, with no cracks or repairs. It is fitted with an active pickup system, with the output jack discreetly installed in place of the original strap button.

The neck has never been reset. The current action measures 3.9 mm on the low E string and 3.1 mm on the high E string at the 12th fret. It is therefore set up for a powerful, buzz-free playing experience and still offers some room for adjustment, although the remaining saddle height is limited. Players seeking a particularly low action should expect that a neck reset may eventually be required.

Tonally, this guitar is exceptionally powerful, with deep, authoritative bass response, outstanding sustain and excellent projection. It is perfectly suited to strumming, fingerpicking or simply accompanying vocals, delivering the rich, full-bodied sound for which vintage Martin dreadnoughts are renowned.

The guitar has been professionally refretted, and the frets remain in very good condition. The ebony fingerboard is also in excellent shape. It comes complete with its original hard shell case.
