The model that made the Hofner brand legendary. Thanks to Paul McCartney, of course. This 1965 model differs from the 1964 model only in the slightly wider plastic contours of the pickups. It’s a lightweight and incredibly resonant instrument. All parts are original. Note a small repaired accident on the heel, which has been stable for years, and that the wiring has been reworked, but the components are original. This is an instrument that has been played and traveled. A few marks here and there. It comes with a custom-made wooden case. Inside, a photo of an orchestra. Was it part of it? That shall remain a mystery.
