No, I haven’t found a pickguard for the blonde Starcaster; it’s a different one. It seems these guitars are naturally finding their way into the shop these days. This particular model is complete and in perfect original condition. The electronics are intact and original. The finish is in excellent condition and untouched. The neck is perfectly straight and very playable, even with the original frets, which have plenty of life left. These models are a very good example of Fender’s expertise and ability to innovate in the 1970s. Equipped with its two humbucker pickups developed by Seth Lover, the inventor of the humbucker for Gibson. This hybrid between a 335 and a Jazzmaster, with its offset body, is unique and a world away from the poor modern reissues. It’s a high-quality instrument, as evidenced, for example, by the quality of the woods chosen. The top is quite spectacular, but I’ll let you be the judge.
It comes with its original hardshell case.
