Weissenborn Style A
1928
Super rare Weissenborn guitar with Spanish neck. Sounds amazing. This is the equivalent to a style 1 Weissenborn. It’s in nice condition and was recently on Bill Asher’s bench: he reset the neck and refretted the fingerboard. The bridge saddle has been recut for more modern intonation and an aluminum saddle put in.
The overall body has very light belt rash/marks on the back. The sides are in very good condition and the top has pick wear as viewed in the photos. The back of the head has some numbers inscribed .Comes with a newer hard shell case.
Size: Lower bout is 13 1/2″ (00 size); scale: 25 inches; nut width: 1 15/16″
