Wandre Spazial
early 60s
Guitar designed by the Italian artist Wandre Pioli in the early 1960s. The spazial model introduced in the early 1960s pays hommage to the work of his father whose obsession was to make increasingly lighter flying machines. This is the lightest guitar he has built, with no internal bracing. It only weighs 2kg. As Marco Ballestri recalls in his book dedicated to Wandre, the musicians of Emilia Romagna in the 1960s could play from 9 a.m. until after midnight, only interrupted with red wine and toilet breaks…The weight was therefore a more than important criterion in these conditions. This particular model is in very good condition and plays well. No break or repair. It is easy to play and comes in gig bag. Will be pro packed in a bunker for shipping.
