Gibson Johnny Smith
1963
Superb archtop in excellent condition. This Johnny Smith with venetian cutaway is a beauty. Juts look a t the flamed maple back and sides. The neck is also striking. The ebony fingerboard has very little wear. It’s all original with minimal wear all around. The spruce top is in very nice condition. Little oxydation of the metal parts but nothing unusual. It has a small ding on top next to the tailpiece, that’s the only ding I can find. It sounds like a million bucks. The floating pickup doesn’t require a routing of the top. It vibrates really well. It’s actually a very good acoustic guitar too. It comes with the mini jack and original Lifton hard shell case.
