This beautiful 12-string electric was purchased new in New York by a young photographer working on the liner France during a crossing. He had then spent absolutely all his money (and that of his cousin…) to be able to afford it. A story that obviously still sparks a stir in the family… You will notice that the guitar was cleared through customs upon its return with the address France, the liner. This guitar is not a blind eBay buy or a shot in the dark. It is a chosen and cherished instrument. It has been particularly well treated, has not undergone any modifications and is in excellent condition. Note that the finish has flaked a little on the top of the headstock but that’s all. For the rest the condition is quite impressive. The neck is thin and disconcertingly easy for a 12-string. The action is low, it really plays like butter. This is a model with checkerboard binding on the back. The electronics work well. The toaster pickups have strong gain. It’s all good. It comes with its original hard case in great condition too.
