Ovation Deacon 12-string

1973

Here is a rare and very cool Ovation Deacon 12 string. The graphite-reinforced mahogany neck is remarkably easy. Definitely not a baseball as many 12s, this is super nice and comfortable. The neck is 44.3mm at the nut, the profile is flat and almost constant, hardly thickening as you go down. Quite ergonomic, the guitar sits well and is very pleasant to hold. No break or repair. 2 humbucker pickups with 12 poles. A sound that can at times really come close to 12-string acoustics, but that’s not all. This is a guitar that has a pre amp and the possibilities are numerous. Round, mat, sharp, or my favorite out of phase on the neck pickup. A very complete and very well built guitar. In original hard case.
