Mosrite Combo Red
1967
Rather rare in Europe because they weren’t imported, this is a Mosrite semi-hollowbody. Best known for its solid-body models and its association with Ventures, the Californian brand, a neighbor of Fender, also built excellent semi-hollows, like the combo presented here. It features a German-carved top, a technique learned from master Roger Rossmeisl, who worked at Rickenbacker when Semie Moseley, founder of the Mosrite brand, was his apprentice. This particular model is in excellent condition and has just been setup. The playability is excellent and the action is very low. No break no repairs. This is a sound instrument that is ready to play. Supplied in its original hardshell case.
