Designed by Bill Lawrence, then a Gibson employee, in 1972, the L-6S had a simple task : to offer a guitar with as wide a palette of sounds as possible while remaining easy to use. It has an easy access to the the upper frets (24 of them) a volume knob, a midrange attenuator/booster, and a pickup selector. It is indeed a very versatile guitar. It has Grover tuners. The neck is perfectly straight and very playable. Soft case.
