Gibson J-45

Sometimes I really don’t want to put an instrument up for sale. This one is a good example.

One of my favorite instruments, the Banner J45. I won’t dwell too much on the history of these models again, but the World War II period is truly unique for Gibson, in my opinion. These guitars have something that others don’t. Even with dead strings, they sound like no other.

This one has two unrepaired carcks on the back and the classic pickguard splint under the high E string. You can see 2 small cleats placed inside to stop its progression. The back plate is original and in good condition. The overall condition is pretty good for a Banner. These guitars are 80 years old afterall !

It has the usual beefy neck that gives Banners their charm and contributes so much to the sound.
