Gibson ES-355

This guitar was purchased in December 1980 from Gaité Musique in Paris for 7950 francs. We have the original invoice, it has only had one owner who took great care of it. This is an excellent, perfectly setup instrument. Mounted in Tomastik 11-47 flatwound strings, since he played in a jazz group. The neck is incredibly easy. So of course it is possible to string it in round wound strings for a more rhythm & blues / rock style but the result here is really excellent this way. The weight is pretty good since it only weighs 3.7kg: the same weight as the es-345 from 67 that we have at the moment. The original wine red finish is in good condition with a few play marks but nothing too bad. All original parts except for the plastic contour of the bridge pickup which was deformed and which was replaced. The original comes with it, it is in the original Gibson case with the stereo cable.
