Gibson Country Western

1955

When was the last time you saw a clean first year county western ? The sound is insane, really bright and well opened. The kind of guitar that Gibson-reluctant Martin fans should try out (yes they exist). She has it all. The condition first of all is excellent. It has marks of course but nothing abnormal for a 66 year old guitar. Strictly speaking, no repairs but we can point out that the individual tuners currently fitted are reproductions. The neck is of course wide with a 42.8mm nut. More and more difficult to find, especially in this condition. It is one of the very first models of its kind since it appears in the catalog only from 1956. This one dates from the end of the year 1955 with a FON starting with W. In original Lifton hard case also in very good condition with all latches and hinges still functional. Don’t miss it, specially if you’re in Europe..
