Gibson F-25 Folksinger

1965

The Folksinger is a little-known and relatively rare model that has some unusual features.

It’s a 12 fret Gibson with a 50mm wide neck at the nut. This is useful for picking, particularly by leaving a comfortable space between each string. It sounds like a very good Gibson, here we discover a really ample sound, with nice bass and very present mids, more elaborate than on models of similar sizes like the LG-2 or its contemporary the B25. This is, in my opinion, an instrument for any singer or instrumentalist who will find appeal in this wide neck. It is both an obstacle for some but for others it will be the main advantage. The guitar is in very good general condition without repair. The cellulose finish is weather checked overall, which could not be more normal for a guitar of this age.

It is equipped with a K&K pickup and its original crocodile case.

This guitar sounds really good you won’t regret it.
