Fender Jazz Bass Black

1972

Elegant Jazz bass with its original black finish. This is a fairly uncommon version with the maple fingerboard and black inlays on the fingerboard. Sometimes called Geddy Lee bass after the Rush bassist who played a similar model. The instrument is entirely original except for the jack which was replaced by a switchcraft and the pickguard that was changed long long ago. To swap the thumb rest on the E string instead of the G. The electronics and pickups are original. The pickups covers are present. No electronic modifications, no break or repair. The neck is straight and the truss rod works as it should. Original hard case.
