Fender Performer Bass

1985

Here is an interesting bass that I’ve never had the opportunity to present before. The Performer series was briefly produced in Japan in the mid-1980s, a period well known for the high quality of instruments made there. This very uncommon model was part of Fender’s attempt to enter the modern, rock-oriented market at the time, featuring a design and specifications that differ radically from traditional Precision or Jazz Bass models. It delivers a very high output with plenty of punch and features a 24-fret neck, which is quite rare for Fender.

Comes with its original case.
