Gibson B-25N

Gibson B-25 in very good playing condition, offering the typical woody character of 1960s Gibson guitars. It is a light and responsive instrument. The neck angle is correct, allowing for comfortable, consistent action across the entire fretboard. The frets are in good condition with very little wear.

The guitar still retains its original plastic bridge, which is stable and fully functional — an important detail worth noting. To my knowledge, this is the first time I’ve offered one with this bridge here. These models are often found with replaced or warped bridges, which is not the case here; any deformation over the past 60 years has been minimal.  Only one crack on top under the bridge. It can truly be said to have passed the test of time.

The structure is sound, and somewhat to my surprise, it has a very nice overall openness and resonance. It shows the normal signs of a vintage instrument that has been regularly played, including fairly pronounced finish checking. This is a nitro finish, which is perfectly normal — and even quite attractive. You’ll also notice the quality of the spruce used for the top.

It comes with its original period case.
