Jacobacci Studio 3

1971

The most iconic model from the famed Parisian luthiers. The body features a glossy black finish in the spirit of the Les Paul Custom models of the period, with a natural patina consistent with its age and no repairs or modifications. The instrument is fitted with three Benedetti humbuckers, their second version, which allows the guitar to be dated to around 1971. Each pickup is controlled by its own independent mini-switch, making it possible to activate or mute each pickup individually and access all possible combinations. The control layout is completed by a master volume and a master tone, following a simple and efficient logic. The neck is comfortable and stable, with an immediate feel and a substantial profile. The guitar resonates well acoustically, a sign of careful lutherie, and responds with precision once plugged in. The original gold hardware, Tune-o-matic–style bridge, and matching tuners integrate perfectly with the overall design, clearly reflecting the strong Gibson influence that inspired this model. Weight is only 3,7kg.  An original Paris Flore label can be found on the back of the headstock, the distributor that handled these guitars from the mid-1960s through the early 1970s.

Comes in a modern Gibson hard case.
