National Resophonic

1958

An instrument that I brought back 11 years ago from the United States. At the time, I forgot it on the bus that took me from the airport to Montparnasse station. So thin that we couldn’t see it in the luggage compartment…Luckily it was the terminus and the driver was on break… So I sold this instrument at the time to a professional guitarist friend who went to Mike Lewis to push the cone back and restore it to its original shape, he also equipped it with a Schaller. So it was used on stage fior years and is doing well. It’s a small size, very handy with such a charming sound. Very tight, a bit radiophonic. This is one of the rare models with a “solid” and non-pearloid finish. Good condition, no repairs. A few dings or  blemishes here and there but nothing too bad. In soft case
