Jacobacci Rogands R1

1966

This guitar inspired by the Gibson ES-330 (2 single pickups, no central beam) came out of the Jacobacci workshops in 1966. It underwent a small restoration recently: the binding had to be redone all around the body and it was refretted. It is now ready to play for the next decades thanks to Florian Chateau who took care of the operation. He did a wonderful job. The guitar is a real pleasure to play with a low and very comfortable action, impeccable fretting, it is like new. It’s one of the best player in the shop as of today, and as you can see we have a few. It really is a joy to play.  The electronics are original, as are the RV pickups of course. Original SB tuners. Original aluminum bridge. Original case and strap.
