Fender Telecaster

1967

A Telecaster from 1967 isn’t something we find everyday.

This one plays and feels amazing. It’s been modified with a Seymour duncan bridge pickup and a different pickguard since it was routed for a humbucker in the neck position. The original pickup has then been reinstalled and a black pickguard gives it a cool 50s vibe, balckguard style. Original 1966 pots.

Original knobs. Original Bigsby and 1966 pots. The original finish has turned yellow. The neck stamp is OCT 67. Funnily enough the neck shims are pennies. We decide to let them here since it was like that for ages and plays great. It’s even penciled don’t remove shim under the guard and I don’t want to make enemies.

The guitar comes with a thermometer like case, again adding to the blackguard feeling.
