Epiphone Sheraton

1966

This is very nice. This is the Epiphone version of the ES-355. It is all original with factory gold bigsby, mini humbuckers, binding and inlays all over the instrument just like a 355. It plays very well, with a low action a perfect neck which is not skinny. It measures 41,2mm at the nut, which is a transitional width, just between the wide and the pencil. I think they were made like this only in 65 and 66. It sounds remarkably well. It is a great alternative to the traditional ES345 or 355 loved by so many blues players. John lee Hooker loved this model. They made a reissue but this is the real thing. All original. No issues. No breaks. As you can see it is missing some finish on the back of the neck as it was played but nothing to bad, it feels great. It also has a sticker on the back of the headstock. I know these come off fairly easily, we had a similar sticker on the Zephyr that was removed, you can see in it our listings.  It comes with the original hard case that is in nice condition too. It’s got a couple of stickers but is fully functional.
