{"id":33110,"date":"2025-10-23T11:21:17","date_gmt":"2025-10-23T09:21:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vintageguitars.fr\/en\/product\/gibson-es-345-td-3\/"},"modified":"2025-12-04T16:36:41","modified_gmt":"2025-12-04T15:36:41","slug":"gibson-es-345-td-3","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/vintageguitars.fr\/en\/produit\/gibson-es-345-td-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Gibson ES-345 TD"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>SOLD<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">This 1964 Gibson ES-345TD Stereo is a remarkable guitar, a symbol of Gibson&#8217;s expertise at the height of its golden age.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Derived from the famous ES-335, it is distinguished by its stereo electronics, Varitone selector and gold hardware.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The mahogany neck, 42.8mm wide at the nut, has the sought-after medium C profile, typical of 1964. The brazilian rosewood fingerboard is inlaid with parallelograms and shows little wear.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The frets have plenty of life left.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">It still has its two Patent Number humbuckers.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The stereo system and Varitone allow for a very wide sonic palette, making it a truly versatile instrument.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">This particular example was brought back from England by its previous owner in 1969, where he purchased it in a London shop.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">It has therefore been played by the same person throughout this time, which gives us a good understanding of its history.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0C<span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">overs removed in the 1980s passed.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">They were later reinstalled.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The back of the neck received a slight overspray during a visit to Scamps, a famous Parisian luthier, when he installed Grover tuners.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">It&#8217;s also very clear under UV light through this slight haze that it was never broken.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">There&#8217;s just a small damage to the jack, which has been repaired.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">As for playability, it&#8217;s absolutely perfect; Gibson really made a difference that year.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">This profile fits like a glove.<\/span><\/span><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"> It comes with a non original Gibson hardshell case.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SOLD This 1964 Gibson ES-345TD Stereo is a remarkable guitar, a symbol of Gibson&#8217;s expertise at the height of its golden age.
