Typical of this period, the neck is very round, which is really not the case for all L-00s.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">We find many with V-shaped profiles in the 1930s. The bracing is very thin and well glued.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Note inside a small crack repair on the table joint between the soundhole and the fingerboard.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The bridgeplate has been changed.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">As you can see in the photos, it was equipped with a soundhole pickup and 2 pots that were removed.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The operation went well.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The neck is at the right angle and it is easy to play. Tuners are from the 50s.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">It sounds just like a very good L-00.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Equally well-suited to picking and blues in all its forms, it&#8217;s not limited to either.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">In fact, it&#8217;s one of Gibson&#8217;s most versatile guitars, in my opinion.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">It&#8217;s a great accompaniment if you&#8217;re more of a folk player, for example.<\/span><\/span><span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"> Supplied in its cardboard case.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A model that I particularly like, as you know if you visit this site often.
