The varnish has kept all its colors and is very bright. It has not been refinished. All the electronics are original. The knobs have identical codes dating from the 22nd week of 1964, and the soldering has not been touched. It sounds very good, the 2 microphones are original and have not been rewound.\n\nThe guitar had at one point in its life a pick holder on the front. This left a mark, the small screw hole has been filled and the area polished.\n\nThe neck is dated December 1962, it is quite common to have parts older than a year at Fender at the time.
