{"id":27257,"date":"2024-11-29T10:05:47","date_gmt":"2024-11-29T09:05:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vintageguitars.fr\/en\/product\/fender-jazzmaster-sunburst-2\/"},"modified":"2024-12-04T19:17:57","modified_gmt":"2024-12-04T18:17:57","slug":"fender-jazzmaster-sunburst-2","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/vintageguitars.fr\/en\/produit\/fender-jazzmaster-sunburst-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Fender Jazzmaster Sunburst"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>On hold<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">This one is for the players.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">This Jazzmaster has a fantastic neck.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">It is a 63 L series with clay dots, original frets, and original electronics.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Set up with 11-49.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Super stable even using the vibrato<\/span><\/span><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">It sounds great and plays like butter.<\/span><\/span><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"> Now if it is worth half the price of a 63 in perfect condition it is for 2 reasons: <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">1) The neck was mounted on another guitar and part of the heel was cut to fit as you will see in the pictures.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Someone loved this neck and wanted to put it on another instrument.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">I can understand, it is so easy to play and it was adifferent time we did not think about the collector&#8217;s value.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">That being said, the guitar is very stable once again and the neck does not move at all.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The neck pockets of this era are well adjusted and there is no movement in any direction.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">2) the guitar has received an overspray, the original finish is still present but it has been oversprayed as can be seen on the shielding.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">For the rest the guitar is original.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The pickups are original and have not been rewound.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The pots have codes from the 36th week of 1963. The cable that goes from the volume to the jack has been replaced by a shielded cable.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The guitar is silent and all the electronics work very well.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The tuners are original but others were installed at some point before being removed and the originals put back.<\/span><\/span><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"> The 2 plastics knobs are non-original but the tremolo arm and the tip are the original ones. These modifications if they will bother the collector will make a player happy because I can tell you that you will not find a custom shop that can compete with this instrument anytime soon.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">In G&amp;G brown case.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On hold This one is for the players.
