For example with this model presented at Namm in 1947 by CMI to relaunch and expand the National brand range. CMI also being the owner of the Gibson brand, we find, as on the 1155 that we had recently, a body manufactured by Gibson in Kalamazoo. It is in fact an L-50 equipped with an adjustable handle. Under the plastic cover, a few screws allow you to quickly adjust the tilt. It is equipped with its original transparent pickguard and a tailpiece which is not. It is old and very pretty though. The rosewood bridge is original. National mechanics too. The frets are of a good standard and the guitar is very easy to play.
